In Uganda a program of Antiretroviral treatment (ART) - medical treatment using drugs that combat HIV- combined with - in home - HIV-disclosure, partner-testing and prevention counseling.
Has reductions in both sexual risk-taking behavior and the estimated risk of HIV transmission among program participants, according to a study in January's 2005 AIDS report.
